when I was only 20 years old. With my divorce finalized, I became a single mother of three toddlers! I struggled alone for years with money, men, and careers. It felt impossible to even find time to breathe, let alone date!  When I did find time, I struggled with feeling “not good enough” for the great catches but mostly I began to dread dating and avoided it all together for long periods because it was so disappointing and heartbreaking. There were so many guys that just wanted sex and even some that thought they could be a family man, only to ghost me later. I started online dating and it did lead me to a second marriage, but that only fell apart before we even reached one year.

Another long stent of being single and then I landed a pretty good guy. We ended up engaged, but just before the wedding, I ended up with my heart hulk smashed as I realized he wasn’t committed to only me. OUCH! That’s when I knew I needed to take some time out to heal and work on myself. It was a very difficult five years of personal development. I worked on my traumas, my money mindset, my career goals, as well as some in-depth recovery from dating a non-committal narcissist that resulted in me becoming a very intentional dater.
